- Cover the floor around your work area with a drop cloth or old sheets. Lightly sand the table and wipe clean with a damp cloth.
- Put on the plastic gloves from the American Accents® Crackled Finished Antiqued Ivory Kit to help keep your manicure in tact. Apply the ivory base coat using the paint brush in the kit and let dry per can directions.
- Use the sanding pad from the kit to distress areas of the surface. Focus on areas that would naturally see more wear and tear -- like corners and edges.
- Brush on the antiquing top coat and immediately wipe the surface with a clean rag. The longer you wait to wipe, the more distressed your project will look.
- Let dry following directions on can. Place the table in your favorite room with a vase of bright flowers.
